About Lee's
Head instructor Mitch Cochran opened Lee's Tae Kwon Do in the Waco area in November of 1992, under the auspices of Grand Master Chang Sik Lee of Dallas.
Lee's Tae Kwon Do offers lessons in the following disciplines:
- Exercise and physical fitness
- Basic Tae Kwon Do movements
- Forms (poomse)
- One-step sparring
- Free sparring

What is Tae Kwon Do?
It is an action philosophy, the Korean art of self-defense. Literally translated, it means "foot, hand, art". However, there is much more than kicking and punching. It is designed as a non-violent art system of entire body practice and a way of life. It includes physical and mental discipline with a deep philosophy. Through practicing Tae Kwon Do, all practicioners can benefit:
- Physically: By developing good coordination and a strong body
- Mentally: By building confidence, gaining good judgement, and developing a sound mind
- Philosophically: By learning to respect others, help others, and stand by the weak.
